Role Overview

This position reports directly to the Associate Warden for Programs and is responsible for supervision of classifications services at a correctional facility housing over 1,756 offenders. The role serves as chairperson of the Facility Classification Committee and supervises offender job and program assignments, transfer operations, and the records office.

What You Will Do

Serve as chairperson of the Facility Classification Committee, supervise offender job and program assignments, transfer operations, and the records office. Train institution staff on classification issues, coordinate and prepare presentations for Director's Classification Committee hearings, assign Case Managers to offenders, and conduct periodic audits of case management operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from appropriately accredited institution and one year of experience related to the area of assignment
