Institution Security Manager, Correctional Institution Manager 1 (Tillamook)

Requirements

• Five years of lead work, supervision, or progressively related experience; OR Two years of related experience AND a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Managing security or operational programs in a correctional or public safety environment.
• Experience supervising and evaluating staff in a structured or chain‐of‐command organization, including assigning work, reviewing performance, and supporting professional development.
• Conducting administrative, personnel, or operational investigations, including documentation, evidence review, and formal reporting.
• Experience participating in or coordinating emergency response or critical incident operations, such as field deployments, incident command support, or multi-agency response.
• Overseeing program resources, including staffing schedules, procurement, budget monitoring, and equipment oversight.
• Experience applying administrative rules, operating procedures, regulatory requirements, or collective bargaining agreements in daily operations.
