Job Description
City College of San Francisco is seeking full-time, four-day-a-week (260 days/fiscal year) Institutional Police Officers to work in the San Francisco Community College District Police Department. The role involves providing protection of life and property, enforcing laws, and investigating crimes while upholding community standards. Application must be submitted by September 19, 2025, from October 1, 2013 onwards.

Requirements

  • Maintain law and order within and surrounding San Francisco Community College campuses.
  • Provide a safe and secure environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
  • Uphold state and local laws and ordinances.
  • Respond to emergencies and investigate traffic collisions.
  • Issue verbal warning, citations, and parking citations.
  • Patrol assigned areas and provide money escorts.
  • Conduct investigations of crimes.
  • Make felony/misdemeanor/warrant arrests.
  • Assist students, faculty, and staff.
