Job Description
The Ohio School for the Deaf is seeking dynamic applicants with a passion for supporting students who are diverse learners. The Instructional Aide assists teachers in academic instruction, vocational, and daily living skills, while the Instructional Aide Trainee receives training and mentoring to learn procedures to assist teachers.

Requirements

  • Current Educational Aide Permit as issued by State Board of Education
  • 12 months' experience in teaching assistance
  • Intermediate level on the Sign Language Proficiency Interview (SLPI) required upon hire
