Job Description
Instructional Assistant - Bilingual (Mandarin/English required) to assist certificated teacher in providing instruction to limited or non-English speaking students, assist in planning and arranging field trips and special activities, and perform routine clerical duties.

Requirements

  • Assist certificated instructional personnel in developing course of study and lesson plans in English and a second designated language
  • Provide instructional assistance in primary language literacy, English and in school and community acculturation for students new, recent or unaccustomed to the American culture
  • Translate and interpret oral and written communications for parents and teachers
