Role OverviewThe Instructional Assistant - Bilingual provides support to the instructional program within assigned classrooms, working with students individually or in small groups to assist in the assessment of English language acquisition, performing classroom clerical tasks, and serving as a resource to other school personnel.
What You Will Do
Administers classroom assignments, tests, and homework; assists students with lesson assignments and skills practice; attends meetings and professional development; communicates with supervising instructional staff, parents, and guardians.

Requirements

- Passing score on the Lynwood Unified School District Instructional Assistant Proficiency Assessment (Written Examination)
