Role OverviewThe Instructional Assistant will provide support to students in the Broward County School System by assisting with classroom activities, supervising students, and providing care and supervision. They will work under the direct supervision of a teacher and play a vital role in the instructional process. The role requires interacting with students, teachers, and other school personnel on a daily basis.
What You Will Do
The main responsibilities of the Instructional Assistant include working under the supervision of a teacher, providing classroom-related clerical support, preparing and using instructional materials, engaging in general housekeeping activities, and assisting with lunchroom activities and supervising nap and rest periods.
