Job Description
The Instructional Coach coordinates the teacher mentoring program, provides leadership, coaching, and professional development in service of teacher development, and serves as a key member of the school site's Leadership Team.

Requirements

  • Analyzes program related information for direction and support
  • Assesses professional development needs of teachers
  • Assists teachers with resources, materials, and tools
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with teachers, administrators, and coaches
  • Coaches teachers and intervention personnel
  • Collaborates with school leadership and instructional staff
  • Conducts regular pedagogy meetings
  • Coordinates local and state student assessments
  • Develops high-quality professional learning and coaching plans
  • Evaluates assigned personnel
  • Monitors students in educational settings
  • Organizes instructional materials and resources
  • Participates in meetings, workshops, and trainings
  • Prepares written materials
  • Provides individualized teacher support
  • Reports incidents
  • Responds to inquiries
