Job Description
The Temple University Barnett College of Public Health Department of Health Services Administration and Policy invites applications for an Instructional Faculty position in Health Informatics, beginning Fall 2026. The successful candidate will contribute to the mission of academic excellence, innovative education, and inclusive student support, teaching a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses in health informatics.

Requirements

  • Doctorate (PhD, MD, or equivalent) in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Science, or related STEM discipline
  • Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching
  • Commitment to creating inclusive, accessible spaces for all students
  • Ability to teach applied machine learning, NLP, and clinical decision support in healthcare
  • Experience in teaching and mentoring students from different backgrounds in an inclusive setting
  • Collaborative and interdisciplinary work experience
