Role OverviewThe Instructional Program Activity Coordinator plans and conducts the Before and After School Care on-site academic/enrichment program activities to ensure a safe and enriching experience for participants. They adhere to Before and After School Child Care Quality Standards and develop activities based on students' needs and interests. The Coordinator also trains staff, provides direct instruction to students, and enforces the BASCC site behavior management plan.
What You Will Do
Write, plan, and oversee the implementation of developmentally appropriate activities, create weekly written lesson plans, generate orders for materials, maintain and distribute materials, train staff, provide direct instruction to students, and enforce the BASCC site behavior management plan.

Requirements
- Earned bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Experience working with school-age children in a group supervision setting
- Child Abuse and Neglect training
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Ten hours of approved Before and After School Child Care training
