Requirements

Reads and works from related blueprints and other schematic drawings.
Installs and/or removes various instrumentation devices.
Comprehensive knowledge of pneumatics, electronics and electricity.
Cuts, bends, and installs pipe tubing or conduit for the installation of air or process lines for instrument controls using hacksaws and pipe cutters.
Installs instruments, instrument stands and control wiring to valves and strokes valves to verify operation.
Installation and calibration of recorders, alarms, switches and other devices.
Maintain current electrician's license or identification card to meet state regulations.
