As an Instrumentation and Electrical Technician, you will implement and maintain electrical power circuits and equipment, control and automation systems, and electronic and pneumatic equipment used in pipeline applications, compressor stations, plant operations, and measurement facilities.
What You Will Do
Install, inspect, maintain, operate, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate various mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic equipment. Perform preventative maintenance checks on pumps, compressors, drivers, and auxiliary equipment. Calibrate pressure transmitters, temperature transmitters, gas meters, and troubleshoot gas meter errors.

This role requires an Associate’s degree in a job-related technical training or equivalent military training, and at least 3 years of relevant work experience. You will work indoors and outdoors, in and around mechanical, industrial, and electrical equipment with high noise levels. You must be able to maintain a working knowledge of regulatory requirements and Company Standard Operating Procedures.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in a job-related technical training or equivalent military training
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience
- Ability to read and utilize equipment manuals, drawings, schematics, alignment sheets, and P&ID drawings
- Knowledge and experience applying and interpreting results from common electrical measurement instruments
- Ability to install conduit and tubing and electrical wiring associated with controls and equipment supply
- Working knowledge of National Electric Codes and proficiency with electronic test instruments
- Knowledge of process controls and gas processing fundamentals
- Ability to maintain a working knowledge of regulatory requirements and Company Standard Operating Procedures
