Job Description
Must be able to install, test, calibrate, troubleshoot, overhaul and repair electrical, controlling, indicating and measuring instrument devices. Must have some knowledge of electrical schematics and PLC's.

Requirements

  • Must be able to read and understand manuals, wiring or instrumentation schematics and testing specifications
  • Must be able to troubleshoot electric motors, install wiring to circuits, etc.
  • Must have some knowledge of electrical schematics and PLC's
  • Must have some knowledge of mathematics to instrumentation
  • Must have ability to work with principles of chemistry and physics required in instrumentation
  • Must have ability to work with and understand Ohm's Law and Kirchhoff's Law and with Diodes, capacitors and other electrical components
  • Must have ability to work with steam and how it reacts to different situations
