Role OverviewChemelex is a global leader in electric thermal and sensing solutions. This role involves working in the petrochemical industry installing and removing various types of insulation and jacketing on piping and equipment.
What You Will Do
Install and remove insulation and jacketing on piping and equipment in petrochemical facilities. Work from elevated heights using mobile lifting equipment (MANLIFTS). Travel 90% to job sites around the country.

Requires a minimum of 4 years experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial facilities. Must be a motivated self-starter capable of working independently and efficiently. Must pass physical, background, and drug tests along with an insulation journeyman written and practical test.
Requirements
- Minimum of a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Minimum 4 years experience; preferably in manufacturing or industrial facilities
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50lb boxes
- Ability to work from elevated heights, including mobile lifting equipment (MANLIFTS)
- Ability to write legible, routine correspondence and to speak effectively with management and other employees
- Knowledge of industrial electricity issues
- Works well within teams
- 90% travel to job sites around the country
- Must pass Physical, Background and Drug tests
- Must pass insulation journeyman written and practical test
- Must have a TWIC card
- Must provide own tools of the trade
