Role OverviewApply, remove, and repair insulation on equipment, pipes, ductwork, or other mechanical systems to help control noise and maintain temperatures. Work independently, reading and interpreting instructions and documentation. Typically 3 years and above documented field experience in chosen craft discipline.
What You Will Do
Reads and interprets blue prints, instructions, and other documentation. Determines insulation material and sets up work site. Covers, seals, or finishes insulated surfaces. Installs sheet metal around insulated pipes. Measures and cuts insulation for covering surfaces.
