Job Description
The Ohio Department of Insurance (ODI) is seeking an Insurance Contract Analyst 3 to review and analyze P&C insurance product filings for regulatory compliance. The analyst will interpret complex insurance documents, communicate with regulated entities, and support the division's regulatory and administrative functions.

Requirements

  • Analyze property & casualty product filings for regulatory compliance
  • Research and interpret applicable state laws, rules, bulletins, and departmental policies
  • Communicate compliance issues and filing requirements to insurers and regulated entities
  • Respond to inquiries and complaints from insurers and the public
  • Utilize systems to verify data and support analysis
  • Create and maintain compliance review tools and work management resources
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and recommendations based on filing reviews and data analysis
  • Represent the department at meetings and conferences
  • Assist with administrative tasks
