Role Overview

The Insurance Officer is a field-based sales professional responsible for growing the Association's crop insurance portfolio by serving as a trusted advisor to large and complex farming operations. This role develops deep knowledge of producer operations and risk exposures, builds long-term relationships, and delivers tailored crop insurance solutions that support customers' financial resilience and long-term success.

What You Will Do

Grows crop insurance market share through proactive prospecting, disciplined follow up, and consistent engagement with existing and prospective customers. Serves as the primary crop insurance advisor for assigned producers, positioning the Association as a long-term risk management partner. Supports the customer experience by completing processing work accurately and efficiently while maintaining a high level of professionalism and responsiveness.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED with 7 years relevant experience required
  • Bachelor's Degree with 3 years relevant experience preferred
