Role Overview

Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. This is a contract role for an Insurance Regulatory Compliance Specialist to design scenarios and create work products for AI training.

What You Will Do

Design realistic scenarios involving state insurance requirements, market conduct, rate and form filings, licensing, consumer notices, complaint handling, privacy, reporting, audits, and corrective action. Create work products such as compliance assessments, control recommendations, filing checklists, regulatory-response plans, monitoring procedures, and remediation summaries. Write 'golden' reference responses at experienced insurance-compliance quality and grade AI-generated responses against structured rubrics.

  • Have interpreted regulatory guidance and translated it into policies, procedures, controls, or operational requirements
  • Can distinguish compliance analysis from legal advice and recognize when counsel should be consulted
  • Demonstrate excellent written communication, research discipline, and high attention to detail
  • Are comfortable documenting the basis, scope, assumptions, and limitations of a compliance conclusion
