Role OverviewAs an Insurance Specialist, you will provide expertise in insurance pre-certification and authorization of services, develop positive relationships with referring physicians and patients, and work in a full-time position with 40 hours per week.
What You Will Do
You will prioritize workload, determine insurance network, make outgoing calls, receive pre-authorization, and accurately enter information into a computer system. You will also backup the front desk reception and scheduling area as needed.

Requirements
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- One (1) year of healthcare experience working with a variety of health insurance plans for pre-certification and authorization of benefit coverage
- Prior experience with managed care and physician office scheduling
- Microsoft Office Suite Experience
- Proficient with using computer systems and typing
