Role Overview

As an Intake Clinician, you'll play a critical role in helping individuals access behavioral health services, navigate crises, and begin their recovery journey. You'll work alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team while making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals experiencing mental health and substance use challenges.

What You Will Do

Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments, provide crisis intervention services, deliver direct clinical services and care coordination, and maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field
  • Connecticut licensure required
  • Experience conducting assessments, crisis intervention, care coordination, and behavioral health treatment planning
  • Knowledge of mental health, substance use treatment, recovery-oriented care, and community resources
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, documentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and electronic health record (EHR) systems
