Role OverviewThe Intake Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Civil Rights Division in investigating and resolving civil rights violations. The role involves maintaining and overseeing systems for receiving and processing constituent complaints, screening and evaluating complaints, and providing investigative and litigation support to attorneys.
What You Will Do
Primary duties include maintaining intake databases, screening complaints, conducting follow-up work, providing investigative and litigation support, participating in outreach events, networking with community organizations, creating written materials, and responding to public records requests.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Associate degree with at least two years of equivalent experience
- Four years of equivalent experience
- Demonstrated commitment to protecting and advancing civil rights
- Excellent organizational skills
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to build rapport with diverse groups
- Ability to convey information in different settings
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
