Role OverviewThe Intake Specialist will be responsible for facilitating intake referrals for foster care programs across the agency, working with referring agencies, TVN network offices, directors, and foster parents. The role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. The Intake Specialist will work in a hybrid environment, with some in-person work required.
What You Will Do
The main day-to-day responsibilities of the Intake Specialist will include reviewing and assessing initial intake information, maintaining effective communication with referral sources, documenting and tracking referrals and outcomes, attending referral meetings, and establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with TVN staff and stakeholders.

Requirements
- Previous experience working in child welfare or a related child and family services setting
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field, LSW desired
- Valid Ohio Driver's License
- Maintains a driving record that allows the individual to be insurable with the insurance company providing The Village Network with vehicle insurance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
