Job Description
The Montana Department of Corrections is hiring an Intake Specialist to support the daily operations and resident services at the Flathead Valley Reentry Center. This role is responsible for coordinating the intake process, ensuring accurate documentation, and providing administrative support.

Requirements

  • Schedule and coordinate the intake of residents into the reentry program
  • Conduct and coordinate initial screenings and assessments in accordance with program requirements
  • Gather, review, and maintain resident records, reports, and required documentation
  • Ensure compliance with facility reporting requirements and established procedures
  • Greet visitors in a professional and courteous manner, answer inquiries, and direct individuals to the appropriate staff member
  • Answer and route incoming telephone calls, provide information to callers, record messages, and transfer calls as appropriate
  • Prepare responses to routine correspondence and inquiries
