Intellectual Property Litigation Paralegal - ITC Litigation

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive litigation support throughout all phases of ITC investigations, working closely with attorneys on discovery, motion practice, hearings, and post-hearing activities.

What You Will Do

Provide comprehensive litigation support for complex matters before the U.S. International Trade Commission, including Section 337 investigations. Organize, maintain, and manage case files throughout all phases of ITC litigation.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of litigation/trial paralegal experience within a law firm environment.
• Significant experience supporting matters before the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC); Section 337 investigation experience strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting complex intellectual property litigation involving patents, trade secrets, or other technology-related disputes preferred.
• Thorough understanding of the ITC litigation lifecycle, including discovery, motion practice, evidentiary hearings, and post-hearing procedures.
• Experience with cite-checking and Bluebook citation formatting required.
• Strong knowledge of ITC Rules of Practice and Procedure, as well as familiarity with the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure where applicable.
• Experience with electronic filing systems, document management, and litigation support technology.
• Proficiency with legal research platforms, including Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER, and comparable research resources.
• Experience using eDiscovery and document review platforms such as Relativity, Everlaw, IPRO, or similar applications.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and litigation support software.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and project management skills with outstanding attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority matters, work independently, and collaborate effectively within a fast-paced litigation team.
• Willingness to travel in support of hearings and work additional hours as needed to meet case deadlines.
