Role Overview

The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed referrals and executive summary reports, conducting research, gathering and analyzing intelligence, and managing a caseload of enforcement initiatives and case leads. The candidate will also conduct interviews, write and review reports, and testify at administrative hearings and civil and criminal trials. The role involves utilizing various databases and web-based programs to verify and gather information, and evaluating statistical reports and data. The candidate will work under general supervision and will be responsible for coordinating and planning operations and field work.

The main day-to-day responsibilities of the Intelligence Specialist include preparing detailed referrals and executive summary reports, conducting research, gathering and analyzing intelligence, managing a caseload of enforcement initiatives and case leads, conducting interviews, writing and reviewing reports, and testifying at administrative hearings and civil and criminal trials.

Requirements

  • Four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent
  • Five years of satisfactory, full-time experience as an investigator
  • Associate degree or 60 semester credits from an accredited college
  • Four years of satisfactory, full-time experience as described above
  • Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college
  • Two years of satisfactory, full-time experience as described above
