Role OverviewThe Design Consultant works closely with customers to create individualized design solutions to sell Ethan Allen products and services. They will be measured based on performance categories and benchmarks that contribute to the success of the Design Center and their own individual success.
What You Will Do
Create design solutions, sell Ethan Allen's products and services, represent the Ethan Allen brand, utilize grassroots marketing and social media, educate customers, stay current on design and color trends, and coordinate with the team to provide exceptional service.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be skilled in social media, have a broad knowledge of interior design and effective sales techniques, and have a valid driver's license. Experience using digital floor planning technology and interactive technology to view design concepts is a plus.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a design-related field
- Minimum of one year of practical interior design experience
- Valid driver's license
- Intermediate skill competency using digital floor planning technology
- Experience using interactive technology to view design concepts
