Role Overview

The Interiors Project Manager will assist the Director of Workplace Services in managing and providing guidance to the unit's architectural staff in the programming of agency needs in accordance with the DCAS Space Standards. The role involves space planning, design, and assessment of interior office space, as well as coordination of furniture and IT systems.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include assisting in the development and maintenance of departmental planning and design standards, performing general administration duties, and reviewing project Scope of Work and construction documentation.

Requirements

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university
  • One year of satisfactory, full-time experience in the evaluation and layout of space in office buildings, garages, and other structures
  • Experience in construction needs and cost, installation of computer equipment and telephone communication systems, and building standards and leasing procedures
