The Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer will develop concepts and well-engineered mechanical designs for mechanisms used in automated assembly systems. The role requires working with other project team members to meet or exceed customer expectations regarding function, quality, and schedule.
What You Will Do
Design cam, servo, and air-operated stations, ensure designs are functional, robust, and cost-effective, innovate and incorporate ATS standards and regulatory requirements, and participate in internal and customer design reviews.

Requirements
- College degree in mechanical engineering, technology, or equivalent experience
- 2-6 years of automation experience
- Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD, 3D Solid Works, or similar CAD systems
- Proficient with computers, including programs such as AutoCAD, Solid Works, Microsoft Office suite, etc.
- Able to operate fax machines, copiers, printers/plotters, etc.
- Proficient with inspection and measuring tools such as scales, calipers, micrometers, etc.
