Role OverviewThe Intermediate Systems Administrator provides comprehensive support for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of classified and unclassified systems supporting SWFLANT and SWSNET operations.
What You Will Do
Administer, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, and associated networked systems to ensure operational readiness. Implement system updates, patches, and security hardening in accordance with DoD STIGs, IAVMs, and Navy cybersecurity requirements.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Microsoft Windows Server 2019, Active Directory, Group Policy, and enterprise system administration, as well as experience with DoD system hardening standards, RMF compliance, and DISA STIGs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information systems or a related technology field OR High school diploma or GED and 4+ years of additional relevant experience may substitute for a degree
- 4+ years of system administration-related work experience
- Must meet DoD Cyber Workforce (CWF) requirements: At a minimum level of IAT II, Per DoD 8570.01-M Work Role: DCWF Code 451, Proficiency Level: Intermediate, per DoD Directive 8140.01 and SECNAV M-5239.2
- Must maintain required computing environment/operating system certifications (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, VMware)
- Top Secret clearance
- Successfully pass background and drug screening
