The Planning Department Intern performs work related to the Tree Equity and Workforce Education Program, planting, maintaining, and cataloguing trees throughout the City.

Requirements

  • Coursework in biology, ecology, environmental science, or related discipline.
  • Experience using office productivity software like Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude and ability to learn quickly.
  • Must be able to perform physical work such as digging, lifting, and watering.
  • Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
