Job Description
The Intern - Safety & Sustainability supports the execution of Ports America's environmental, safety, and sustainability strategy, providing hands-on experience in environmental compliance, workplace safety, and sustainability initiatives across port operations.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a student at an accredited college or university and Pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field
  • GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • Excellent judgment and proven leadership ability
  • Strong communication skills
  • Enthusiasm and eagerness to learn
  • Knowledge of safety and accident prevention codes and regulations
  • Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Knowledge and understanding of cargo stowage and stability.
