Job Description
Intern EHS job responsible for cultivating a strong safety and environmental compliance culture across the site, working under the direction of the Plant manager and in collaboration with the safety coordinator.

Requirements

  • Leadership & Culture Building: Championing a zero-injury environment and embedding EHS values throughout the organization.
  • Program Management: Developing, implementing, and evaluating critical safety programs.
  • Hazard Identification & Risk Mitigation: Proactively identifying and controlling hazards through formal assessments and control measures.
  • Incident Management: Support investigations, identifying root causes, and ensuring corrective actions are taken.
  • Training & Awareness: Ensuring all employees are trained, competent, and engaged in EHS practices.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Managing documentation, environmental reporting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with site leadership, safety committees, and business units to drive innovation and sustainability.
  • Metrics & Communication: Maintaining and communicating EHS performance data and overseeing SDS systems.
