Job Description
TxDOT's Tyler District is excited to announce internship positions that will primarily work the months of May through August. Interns will assist in transportation engineering support work, including construction or maintenance inspection, structural construction or maintenance, laboratory work, landscaping, surveying or engineering data collection, and other entry-level engineering support work.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in an engineering or related science degree program in an accredited college or university accepted by TX PELS
  • Must be at least 16 years of age, a student currently enrolled in high school or any institution of higher education
  • Must pass a drug test prior to employment for safety impact positions
