Role OverviewThe Internal Admissions Director is the frontline to patients and families looking for placement within the Skilled Nursing Facility. They will interface with Care Navigators and Nurse Liaisons within hospitals, communicate with referral partners, and ensure benefits are acceptable and explained to potential admissions.
What You Will Do
Main day-to-day responsibilities include communicating with referral partners, ensuring benefits are acceptable and explained, and representing the facility with area hospitals and medical professionals.

Requirements
- Must possess the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, visitors and the general public.
- Must have knowledge of medical terminology.
- Must have knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and other insurances.
- Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing admission practices.
- Software knowledge - Outlook, Excel, Word
- Must understand and be up to date with the Federal and State regulations for SNF's related to admissions.
- Ability to work flexible hours and weekends
- Ability to read and write in English
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
