Role OverviewThe International Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for monitoring emails, reviewing statements and invoices, and communicating with international agents regarding payment statuses and issues. The position involves creating wire payments, maintaining and managing information on the IFLN website, and understanding international agent partner contracts and IFLN obligations.
What You Will Do
The main responsibilities include monitoring international agent partner account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities, receiving and verifying international agent partner invoices, and communicating with agents about payment status, issues, and to request missing paperwork.

The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, verbal and written, to follow-up with AR, AP, and collection issues related to international agent partners, and be proficient in data entry functions, with the ability to use sound judgment when making independent decisions.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years previous accounting, international billing, or relevant work experience
- Previous logistics, transportation, domestic or international experience a plus
- Experience with foreign currencies and exchange rates preferred
- Previous experience with CargoWise system a plus
- Knowledge of Truckload, Less-Than-Truckload, Import/Export, Customs, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable processes
- Knowledge and understanding of Incoterms
