Role Overview

Baker Tilly is seeking International Tax Interns for 2027 to gain knowledge of the firm's tax Advisory practices through working with multiple clients across various industries.

What You Will Do

Assist multinational clients and high net worth individuals by performing transactional and functional analysis, transfer pricing analysis, US domestic and foreign tax planning, sourcing of income and foreign credit planning, research on international tax consulting and compliance issues, and other projects as assigned.

Why It Might Be a Fit

No prior professional experience is required, but previous internship, academic, leadership, volunteer, customer service, or other relevant experience and demonstrated interest in accounting or professional services are preferred.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled or pursuing a bachelor's degree program in Accounting or a related business discipline from an accredited institution.
  • JD/LLM or Masters of Taxation preferred
  • Must have at least one academic term remaining following completion of the internship.
  • No prior professional experience is required, but previous internship, academic, leadership, volunteer, customer service, or other relevant experience and demonstrated interest in accounting or professional services are preferred.
  • On track to meet the educational requirements for CPA exam eligibility prior to the start of a full-time Associate position.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer-sponsored visa sponsorship, now or in the future.

  • Pay rate ranges for specific locations: $28.75 to $96.60 in Seattle, WA; $27.50 to $109.20 in California; $31.25 to $105.00 in New York City; $30.00 to $100.80 in Washington DC
