Job Description
Mercedes-Benz is looking for a Supplier Quality Intern to support the ramp up of Model year vehicles at seat supplier Lear. The intern will drive quality related open topic lists to closure, create management summaries, and report on project progress. The position offers a paid internship with a competitive hourly rate, coverage of visa costs, and a $700 housing bonus.

Requirements

  • Support ramp up of Model year vehicles at seat supplier Lear from Production trials (PT1-3) to start of production (SOP)
  • Drive quality related open topic lists to closure, create management summaries and report out on project progress
  • Sample coordination including timing tracking for Product Validation (PV) samples and shipping samples
  • Support Supplier Quality Engineers (SQE) of the Interior department in daily and project tasks
  • Create management summaries and report on project progress
  • KPI creation and follow up on open topics
  • Report creation (Start extracts, PIA overviews, etc.) for supplier quality team
