Job Description
Children’s Wisconsin is seeking an Interpreter Student to facilitate communication between clinical staff and clients or patients. The successful candidate will be bilingual in Spanish & English and have completed medical interpreting coursework.

Requirements

  • Completion of at least 1 semester of a medical interpreting program
  • Bilingual in Spanish & English
  • Ability to pass language verbal proficiency test with overall score of Advanced Mid
  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology used in primary care, lab, imaging and dental services
  • Knowledge of National Code of Ethics in Health Care (NCIHC) code of ethics
