Role Overview

The Intervention Specialist will work collaboratively with the Director of Student Services and Dean of Academics to provide targeted small-group instruction to close learning gaps in reading and mathematics. The role involves administering, interpreting, and regularly reviewing diagnostic and formative assessment data to guide intervention decisions. The Specialist will also plan and implement evidence-based interventions using prescribed curricula.

What You Will Do

The responsibilities of this role include administering diagnostic and formative assessment data, pulling students for targeted small-group instruction, creating lesson plans, and conducting daily and weekly progress monitoring. The Specialist will also collaborate with classroom teachers to share data and ensure alignment with core instruction.
