Role OverviewThe Intervention Specialist is responsible for all aspects of Special Education services and compliance, providing additional intervention to students as needed. They must be knowledgeable about laws pertaining to special education and ensure that all students identified with a disability are given the same learning opportunities as non-disabled students.
What You Will Do
Primary duties include managing student work, ensuring student safety, developing standards-based curriculum and assessments, and implementing the Instructional Framework with fidelity. The Intervention Specialist will also teach all subjects, utilize data and assessments to drive instruction, and adapt the curriculum to meet student needs.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Current ODE License as an Intervention Specialist required
- Highly Qualified Teacher (HQT) status in teaching assignment
- 1–2 years' experience working with students with disabilities
- Experience with ETRs and IATs, as well as writing IEPs
