Role OverviewThe position of Interviewing Clerk OPS is a paraprofessional position assigned to the Office of Economic Self-Sufficiency with primary responsibility for reviewing applications to collect demographic information and/or provide information and referral services.
What You Will Do
Determines eligibility for expedited food assistance services, explains eligibility to applicants and recipients, enters client data into database, maintains necessary files and records, completes general clerical duties, and conducts application registration, scheduling appointments, and intake interviews.

Requirements
- A high school diploma or its equivalent
- Two years of clerical or public contact experience
- College education from an accredited institution or vocational/technical training can substitute at the rate of 30 semester, 45 quarter or 720 class room hours for each year of the required experience
