Role OverviewThe successful candidate is responsible for implementing the academic component of the Upward Bound Program by introducing high school students to health and medical science college and career pathways. The instructor will provide guidance and mentorship while helping students explore educational requirements, career opportunities, and professional pathways within the health and medical sciences.
What You Will Do
The instructor will teach one 50-minute class period each Thursday evening, from 6:30 P.M. – 8:20 P.M., and will be informed of the schedule ahead of time.
Why It Might Be a Fit
A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Education, and/or a related field is required, and a Master's degree is preferred. Experience working with high school students or in a college-preparatory program is preferred.
