Inventory Analyst

As an Inventory Analyst for John Deere Des Moines Works located in Ankeny, Iowa, you will maintain accurate records for direct materials, reconcile discrepancies, conduct root cause analysis, and drive corrective action. You will work closely with Operations, Production Control, Manufacturing Engineers, Department Auditors, and other factory teams to ensure inventory accuracy. You will participate in Cycle Counts and Quarterly Financial Inventory Audits, and implement projects designed to improve systemic inventory inaccuracies.

Requirements

• 1 or more years in roles that demonstrate a working knowledge of Material Flow
• 1 or more years in a manufacturing environment
• 1 or more years demonstrating a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
• 1 or more years collaborating with peers and teams cross functionally
• SAP Experience
• Ability to collaborate and drive action within cross-functional teams
• Proficient in analyzing data to uncover emerging trends and issues, ensuring timely and informed decision-making to help root cause issues impacting inventory accuracy
• Experience working directly with UAW employees
• Understanding assembly line and process design, material presentation and delivery
