Inventory Control Supervisor

The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all inventory control activities within a manufacturing and warehouse environment. This role ensures inventory accuracy, maintains efficient inventory processes, supports production operations, and leads a team responsible for cycle counting, inventory transactions, and inventory reconciliation.

What You Will Do

The supervisor works closely with Production, Purchasing, Shipping, Receiving, and Quality to ensure material availability while minimizing inventory discrepancies and carrying costs. The supervisor will also supervise and lead an inventory control team, schedule, train, coach, and perform performance management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in inventory control, logistics, or warehouse operations.
• Proven experience leading or supporting improvement projects.
• Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of inventory principles (FIFO, lot tracking, cycle counting).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or data visualization tools.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
• Forklift certification or material handling experience a plus.
