Job Description
Beehive Industries is seeking an experienced Inventory & Materials Improvement Specialist to support manufacturing and assembly operations by ensuring accurate, efficient, and reliable material flow. The ideal candidate understands the realities of the factory floor and brings a continuous-improvement mindset to materials management in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Design and optimize material stocking strategies to support assembly lines and work cells
  • Establish standard work for kit build, staging, and consumption
  • Execute and improve cycle count programs, physical inventories, and reconciliation processes
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve inventory discrepancies that impact production
  • Lead process-improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve accuracy, and stabilize production
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), visual controls, and work instructions
  • Develop, implement, and enforce inventory control policies for manufacturing and assembly
  • Define best practices for material handling, WIP tracking, consumption, and reconciliation
  • Support internal and external audits related to inventory accuracy and controls
  • Ensure accurate and timely inventory transactions within ERP/MRP systems
  • Track and report key inventory and materials metrics (accuracy, shortages, variances, turns)
  • Partner with production, planning, procurement, quality, and finance teams to improve material performance
