Role OverviewThe Inventory Supervisor will lead a team and ensure accurate inventory levels, account for defective or damaged products, and provide correction action. The role involves supervising and developing team performance, conducting regular performance evaluations, and implementing strategies to ensure high-quality work and meet KPIs.
What You Will Do
The Inventory Supervisor will perform physical cycle counts, verify inventory paperwork, complete necessary records and reports, and ensure daily cycle counts are completed. They will also help organize the annual audit, maintain warehouse security, and implement continuous improvement action plans.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The Inventory Supervisor will be responsible for associate counseling, coaching, and administration of correction action. They will also maintain associate adherence to all KN policies and complete new hire Introductory Period Assessments on a timely basis.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of recent experience in a full-time inventory role
- 2 or more years in a supervisory role in a warehouse environment
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Successful communication – written and verbal
- Experience with personal computers and materials handling equipment
- Ability to work standing and walking in a hot/cold warehouse environment
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted
