Job Description
Chicago Public Schools is seeking an Investigation Specialist to handle complaints regarding waste, fraud, and financial mismanagement in public education. The specialist will work with the Office of Inspector General to identify and classify incoming complaints, gather relevant information, and conduct preliminary investigations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in investigative, research, or fast-paced environments
  • Ability to work independently and remain highly organized while multitasking
  • Proven ability to distill information and concisely report on it to supervisors
  • Refined judgment with the ability to manage highly sensitive and confidential information
