Job Description
The Investigator III serves show cause orders and subpoenas for witnesses and records in Child In Need of Assistance (CINA), Termination of Parental Rights (TPR), and Adult Protective Services (APS) cases. The employee uses investigative techniques to track down the location of persons to be served, facilitating the timely resolution of court proceedings.

Requirements

  • Serves initial process including show cause orders to parties, and subpoenas to witnesses and custodian of records in accordance with legal requirements.
  • Conducts field investigations and interviews with potential leads to achieve service of process.
  • Investigates various available databases and other techniques to and confirm the real-time location of witnesses and parties to Adult Protective Services (APS), Child In Need Assistance (CINA), and Termination of Parental Rights (TPR) cases.
  • Compiles and provides written monthly reports related to Child In Need Assistance (CINA) and Terminating of Parental Rights (TPR) cases.
