Role OverviewThe Investigator plays an important part at the Board. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting investigations of complaints and alleged violations of Ohio Revised Code 4732/4783 and Ohio Administrative Code 4732/4783, applying administrative rules, statutory requirements, ethical principles, and Psychology Board policies and procedures to each case.
What You Will Do
Conduct investigations, interview complainants and witnesses, prepare confidential investigation reports, and make recommendations regarding investigation strategy and case status.

Requirements
- 30 months of training or 30 months of investigative experience with experience corresponding to type of complaints & alleged violations
- Valid driver's license
- Completion of associate core program in law enforcement, criminal justice or in academic field commensurate with program area
- 12 months of experience conducting investigations and/or inspections
- 30 months of training or 30 months of experience as Investigator Assistant, 26210 with experience corresponding to type of complaints & alleged violations
- Equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment
