Role Overview

The Division of Real Estate & Professional Licensing is seeking candidates to fill an Investigator position. The ideal candidate will have practical knowledge &/or experience in Real Estate or related field. The investigator will conduct thorough, timely investigations of complaints alleging violations of laws assigned to the Division of Real Estate & Professional Licensing.

What You Will Do

Independently conduct investigations, gather and assemble facts/evidence, prepare memorandums of interviews and follow-up correspondence, and write detailed investigative reports. Assist in documenting, preparing, and presenting cases by legal counsel before an administrative hearing officer and/or other applicable governing boards and agencies.

Requirements

  • 30 mos. trg. or 30 mos. investigative exp. with experience corresponding to type of complaints & alleged violations
  • Completion of associate core program in law enforcement, criminal justice or in academic field commensurate with program area
  • 30 mos. trg. or 30 mos. exp. as Investigator Assistant
  • Valid driver's license
  • Equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment
